PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND Dung holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons 1) and a Masters of Law (focusing on taxation law). She is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. She also is a NSW Law Society accredited specialist in taxation law, a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. CURRENT PRACTICE Dung works primarily in the areas of tax and commercial law. Dung provides advice on direct and indirect taxes including income tax, fringe benefits tax, GST, NSW stamp duty, land tax and payroll tax. This includes tax advice related to business structuring, the acquisition and disposal of businesses and cross border transactions. Dung also provides advice in respect of estate planning, succession planning and superannuation.BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE Dung has experience working both in the SME market and also for a top tier law firm. Prior to joining MBP Legal, Dung was a senior associate at Baker & McKenzie where she focused on providing Australian income tax on cross border structures, structured financial products and property investment vehicles. Prior to Baker & McKenzie, Dung worked for six years at a boutique tax practice which specialised in servicing the SME market with tax, commercial, superannuation and estate planning advice.
