PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Nicolas holds a Masters of Arts, a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2000.
CURRENT PRACTICE
Nicolas has extensive experience in business & commercial litigation and dispute resolution, practicing primarily in the areas of commercial, franchising, employment and corporate insolvency law. Nicolas is the Senior Associate of the litigation group in MBP Legal.
Where circumstances permit, Nicolas prefers to adopt a reasonable and non confrontational litigation style - whilst still fully protecting the rights and entitlements of the firm’s clients. Nicolas believes that by not promoting the ‘angst’ that naturally occurs during the course of commercial litigation, the parties stand a better chance of appreciating the merits and risks of their case. This in turn may lead to negotiated settlement of a litigious dispute on commercially acceptable terms.
Nicolas has acted on behalf of public and private clients and has been involved in major projects in the areas of commercial and contract disputes, corporate insolvency, bankruptcy, construction dispute resolution and intellectual property disputes.

Nicolas has acted on behalf of public and private clients and has been involved in major projects in the areas of commercial and contract disputes, corporate insolvency, bankruptcy, construction dispute resolution and intellectual property disputes.
He has experience in appearing and representing clients before the Federal Court of Australia and Full Federal Court as well as the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the District Court of New South Wales. He has expertise representing high profile Australian television and sporting celebrities as well as corporate executives.
Prior to joining the legal profession, Nicolas was involved in the dealing with high profile executives across the commercial sector.
